Extra Extra Read All About It!

Okay, well this past weekend was our annual convention for Brown Bag Party. Although I didn’t get to go this year, I am still very excited about the newness to come to our company! There are so many great things happening!

May 1st is the launch date for our brand new catalog! Woo Hoo!!! The new catalog includes 41 new products! That’s right, FOUR – ONE, FORTY-ONE!!!! Woo Hoo!

There are some amazing changes coming about with all the new. Our new charitable contribution is donating to help find a cure for Breast Cancer! We have a brand new bullet, One Touch for a Cure. This bullet is small, water-proof and pink! This bullet has a smooth and silky touch. For every One Touch for a Cure bullet sold BBP is donating .50 to the Susan G Koman Foundation.

BBP is still working on branding and packaging all of our products. With this new catalog and the new products, many of our products are getting a face lift. There are awesome new boxes and labels with our Domestic Diva name on them! This is so exciting! Some of our current products are being updated to newer and better versions. A few of these are the Headlight, the Midnight Encounter, & the Hearts of Fire.

Although some of our products from our current catalog will be discontinuing, I am sure the new products are going to rock our socks!

Aaron's Dream

I would like to tell you all about a very brave young man named Aaron. He is the son of a great lady that is a member of Sassy Sisters in Sales with me, Micki. Micki is the owner of Baby Cakes Online Bakery. Aaron just left on his venture to serve our great country. He joined the Air Force! Aaron is living his dream and his mom is trying to adjust to her baby not being home. Micki's newest cupcake, Aaron's Dream Cupcake, is dedicated to all things military in honor of her brave son, Aaron. Please take a few moments to read the story behind this delicious looking cupcake. I was just made aware of a fundraiser of sorts and would like to share with everyone. This lady, JoAnn, is trying to raise money for her husband, Don's open heart surgery that takes place September 4th. The insurance doesn't cover the entire cost. She is going to be giving away a beautiful handmade quilt.

Anthony "Tony" White Benefit

As many of you have heard me talk about, I am helping put together a benefit for Anthony "Tony" White of Graham/Eli Whitney, NC. Tony was in a bad wreck back in August 2008. If you want to read about his accident click here and here for the news articles.

Tony is a great man and always there to help anyone that needs it. Since his wreck in August, Tony has been in the burn center at the University of Chapel Hill Hospital. Once released from the burn center, Tony will be moved to rehabilitation.

We, myself and two friends, are organizing this benefit to show Tony that we all miss him and are praying for him. The community is really coming together to make this benefit huge! We are throwing a huge party including children's activities, DJ, BBQ/Hot Dog supper, raffles and silent auction. We are still in the process of collecting donations to use for the raffle and silent auction. I know that most of you do not know Tony and do not even live in NC for that matter, but I am thankful that you all are offering help.

The website has a guestbook for everyone to sign with messages and well wishes to Tony. As we start to build more signatures we will print the messages and send to Tony in the hospital. We are working closely with his family to make this a huge success.

Okay so I have to say that I am a little biased when it comes to "AWESOME" shops! I am a member of a great group, as many of you already know, Sassy Sisters In Sales! We are a group of like minded women that support each other in our businesses. This group is truly a sisterhood! We are there for each other, not only with business related topics, but also with personal issues! I am so glad that I was invited to join this group back in December. This group went "live" in January and hasn't slowed down since! This is truly our year and we are taking the net by storm!
