A Poem For His Daughter

I received this poem in my email. Although the story that came along with the poem was fictitious, the poem brings a great message to all parents. Count your blessings!

I don't know the true author of this poem but it is a great reminder:

*Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry, and pick you up and take you to the park to play.

*Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.

*Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with you in the backyard and blow bubbles.

*Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about what you are going to be when you grow up, or second guess every decision I have made where you are concerned.

*Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so you can have both toys.

*Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about how you were born and how much I love you.

*Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.

*Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray, I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever given.

*I will think about the mothers And fathers who are searching for their missing children, the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's graves instead of their bedrooms, and mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly, and screaming inside that they can't handle it anymore.

*And when I kiss you good night I will hold you a little tighter, a little longer.

It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask him for nothing, except one more day...............

I Wanna Go To BootCamp!!!

Okay, so I don't want to go to military Boot Camp, I wouldn't survive! I want to go to Brown Bag Boot Camp!

As you all probably know by now I am a romance consultant with Brown Bag Party. Every year BBP holds a boot camp for consultants. This is a weekend of intensive training, getting to know other consultants, laughing, dancing, and a whole lot of fun!

The details for this year's boot camp were announced yesterday. I want to go! Woo Hoo! I am so excited about this adventure. I am looking forward to all of the training and getting to meet my sponsor along with all of the other consultants who offer support in my business on a daily basis.

Boot Camp is taking place this year in Virginia!!! Yay, I can drive there and save on airfare. We are having camp at the beautiful Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing. Check out some of the pictures from their site.

Check out that zip line, wow! There is going to be an adventure on the zip line for those that go to Boot camp on Thursday. I would love to do that however, I think I am going to go down on Friday. This will be the first time that I have left my girls for more than one night. Even when I have left them overnight I get them back the next morning. I will have to suck it up and handle this. I REALLY want to do this for my business, I know it will help me a LOT!

I am really looking forward to going to boot camp. I know I will come away with so much knowledge from all of the ladies that have been doing this for years!
